USSearch helps you find people through public record searches. Start with a name and get detailed information on the person you are looking up.
USSearch is limited to record searches in the United States.
The reports are very simple to navigate, with easy to read information. Reports are also available on your account to access at a later date.
Information is based on the type of report purchased. It can include personal information, criminal records, property history and more.
Reports can have extra information added on, with each requiring an extra cost.
Some reports had good accuracy with the information, with some omissions. The omissions were throughout the report across several searches. Other services have made this information available, suggesting USSearch's data is lacking records.
The extra add-ons for reports were also mixed, sometimes returning little results.
USSearch is not a Consumer Reporting Agency (CRA) as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Information on this site cannot be used for purposes outlined in the FCRA. This includes, but is not limited to, employment, finance, insurance or tenant screening.
USSearch does not have accreditation from the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
USSearch does not verify the accuracy of the information presented.
OmniSearch offers a 2-day trial and unlimited OmniSearch reports. If you do not cancel within the trial period, you will be charged $19.95/mth until your membership is canceled.
Criminal, marriage and divorce record searches are only available in some states.
Compared to other background check services, USSearch looks affordable. To get the same level of information as other services does need extra charges. The cost does start to rise if other reports are needed.
For simple information, USSearch could be the right fit for a simple check. More detailed reports will need a greater investment to get useful information.
